Based in Cincinnati, Ohio, Ohio River Brass Quintet is an exciting musical collaborative comprised of five highly trained brass musicians. The Quintet is one of the most active chamber groups in the Greater Cincinnati area performing extensively in numerous capacities including recitals, educational concerts and residencies, formal affairs, and collaborative endeavors.

 

ORBQ was formed in 2009 by five Cincinnati College Conservatory of Music graduates for the purpose of performing contemporary and unfamiliar works for brass quintet in addition to arrangements of great works of the past by members of the group.
 

Since its formation the Ohio River Brass Quintet has performed regularly at Classical Revolution Cincinnati, and was featured at the 2012 Constella Festival in conjunction with Classical Revolution.
